Ann Arbor High School Class of 1967

Class of 1967  members and their guests totaling 49 people celebrated our class's generic 60th birthday party held at Banfield's West Side Grill Friday July 24th, 2009. 

The weather cooperated well for our outdoor party on the patio. Jacquie Baird Spiher provided a great selection of recorded Motown hits for our enjoyment. Both the food Banfield's served us, and our birthday cake were good and there was plenty to go around. Clyde Gibson took photos of nearly everyone who attended the party. In a couple of weeks I hope to get them posted on our website for your enjoyment.  Thanks Jacquie and Clyde! From the pictures viewed and the comments overheard, it seems that all that attended had a good time.

We had intended this party to be a self supporting event, but we fell short of covering the costs with the door charge of $8 each by about $235.00.  The reunion/60th birthday party committee decided to cover the shortfall by taking the $235 from the funds we have to start the planning for future reunion.

I hope that those of you that were able to join us had a good time renewing friendships and getting to know some class members you didn't know well in high school.
